We are pleased to announce that after spending 9 months on our Scion Coalition Scheme (SCS), Adam Lyon has successfully graduated. Adam has successfully secured a role at Digitive Ltd, which is a fantastic achievement.
The Netmatters SCS was created to bridge the gap in the local tech industry and to help create new opportunities for aspiring web developers to progress in their training and, therefore career. This is why - the Scion Coalition Scheme is a professional development training program that teaches technical skills, but also how to work appropriately in a professional environment. The Scheme has also recently been awarded The Princess Royal Training Award as well as securing the Skills of Tomorrow Award at the 2020 Norfolk Business Awards.
Thanks to our sponsors, we are able to offer employment opportunities following the completion of the scheme. We partner with a number of companies in the East Anglian region (and beyond) such as Engage Health Systems Ltd, Tech East, Modality systems, and of course, Netmatters. We have also officially launched a self-funded entry to the programme, information on which can be found here.
During his time on the scheme, Adam has remained focused and driven with his learning. We have no doubts that he will excel in his career in the future and will act as a testament to the Scion Coalition Scheme, proving it to be an invaluable opportunity for bright, motivated people.
"Adam was one of the first students we were able to take on fully remotely after lockdown started early last year. Since that time he has been working extremely hard to gain new skills and put them into practice and we're so proud that all his hard work has now paid off - well done Adam." - Tessa Woodrow, Scion Coalition Scheme Training Manager
We’d like to once again congratulate Adam and are extremely thankful for the dedication shown throughout his time here. Please join us in wishing Adam congratulations and good luck with his career!
