We are pleased to announce that after spending 9 months on our Scion Coalition Scheme (SCS), Andrew Spalding has successfully graduated. We are continuing to support Andrew remotely as he searches for a new role to make use of his new skills.
The Netmatters SCS was created to bridge the gap in the local tech industry and to help create new opportunities for aspiring web developers to progress in their training and, therefore career. This is why, the Scion Coalition Scheme is a professional development training program that teaches technical skills, but also how to work appropriately in a professional environment. The Scheme has also recently been awarded The Princess Royal Training Award.
Thanks to our sponsors, we are able to offer employment opportunities following completion of the scheme. We partner with a number of varying companies in the East Anglian region like Engage Health Systems Ltd, Tech East, Modality systems and of course, Netmatters. We have also officially launched a self-funded entry to the programme, information on which can be found here.
During his time on the scheme, Andrew has remained focused and driven with his learning. We have no doubts that he will excel in whichever role he chooses to undertake. He will act as a testament to the Scion Coalition Scheme, proving it to be an invaluable opportunity for bright, motivated people.
"Andrew has been a real asset to our Scion Scheme. He adapted well to the challenges he has faced on the scheme and has been able to overcome them with confidence and a positive attitude. Overall, the experience has been incredibly rewarding for both Andrew and Netmatters and we wish him luck" - Tessa Woodrow, Scion Coalition Scheme Training Manager
We’d like to once again congratulate Andrew and are extremely thankful for the dedication shown throughout his time here. Please join us in wishing Andrew congratulations and good luck with his career!
