The beginning of the month means only one thing here at Netmatters - announcing the winner of "Notable of Notable Employees" for February. This award is given to an employee who has excelled in their day to day role or has played an integral part in the company's success during the previous month.
Each department manager is asked to nominate an employee from their department, who they feel has particularly impressed during the course of the previous month. Each one of these employees is then considered as a candidate for this award.
The Notable of Notables is presented to a member of staff who has delivered results effectively with no drama. This month's Notable of Notables is awarded to Bethany Shakespeare.
The Most Notable of Notable Employees
Bethany Shakespeare
Bethany just doesn’t give up! She will take on any task given to her with determination and commitment to get the work done. She has been given a number of challenges this year and can be relied on to get results. - Millie Pankhurst
Bethany Shakespeare - "Does a great job of dealing with a very diverse task list. She consistently delivers results effectively with no drama." - James Gulliver
This Month’s Other Notable Employee Nominations:
Jim Palmer - Jim has done a fantastic job of owning his new role and showing real concern for our customers. He consistently ensures that we deliver on our values for them. – James Gulliver
Lydia Whitney – Lydia acts on feedback with alacrity and is a very fast learner. She absorbs information and is an asset to the team. – James Gulliver
Edmund Morron - Ed has really impressed with the way he has been working over the last few weeks, especially with the ownership he has shown for a specific project. His eagerness to get stuck in to new challenges and attitude towards his own training and development outside of work has been extremely encouraging. – Josh Ralph
Tom Lancaster – Tom is managing an integral part of the Netmatters Business. His transition to Head of Projects has been challenging due to high PM work load, however, following the appointment of Rebecca, this has enabled Tom to put more focus on the entire PM team. His input on IT project process has been excellent so far with more to come. Tom is a safe pair of hands and provides calm clarity to get things progressed. - Chris Gulliver
The IT Team – Great work on two challenging projects; A mass migration to a new backup system (time pressured) delivered on scheduled (85 accounts moved in 2 months!). Also a project on very short notice, 3CX phone system migration following a pending supplier failure, we had to migrate 9 business phone systems to 3CX in less than 4 weeks. This included porting phone numbers, overcoming compatibility challenges (conference phones), training staff and setting up some complex call groups. All this was achieved whilst absolutely minimising downtime for the clients. – Chris Gulliver
Chris Waldie & Matt Chapman – Both of these employees have gone above and beyond with the migration of our clients from the legacy phone platform to 3CX. This was a switch which was enforced, however, they have done a fantastic job of the migration of clients along with managing their normal workloads. – Rob George
Abigail Brown – Since joining the Digital team, Abigail has gone from strength to strength and has quickly become the SEM Lead on a number of Digital clients. Additionally, Abigail’s been spear heading the content writing for many of our clients websites, including Netmatters, writing quality news articles and case studies. Keep up the good work! – Lydia Whitney
