Netmatters Receives ISO 27001 Certification

We are proud to announce that we have achieved certification to ISO 27001! We had ISO assessors in the office so they could review our daily practices and processes, to ensure compliance with the high ISO 27001 standards, and we are proud to have passed with 0 corrective actions! This shows our clear dedication towards the security of our client?s information.

What is ISO 27001?

ISO 27001 is an independent security framework that sets a high standard for establishing and improving information security management within businesses. The framework was created to allow for the progression of information security and uses a six-part planning process to achieve this. To obtain the certification there is a 12 section certification process that must be adhered to, which ensures that all businesses are fully conformant before they receive the certificate.

What does this mean to us?

As a small-to-medium business that has grown organically, the certification did benefit us vastly from the formalised data protection policies that this included. These went towards further strengthening our existing policies, and has made a clear improvement towards how we manage the information that we hold for both our employees and our clients.

The experience was an immensely positive one, and the process was assisted by the nature of being a technology-centered business. The knowledge that we gained from working within the industry has helped us stay secure digitally, and has always safeguarded the services that we provide to all of our clients.
