The Client

Langley is a co-educational, inclusive, day and boarding school based in Norfolk. Established with a rich legacy of academic excellence and a commitment to nurturing well-rounded individuals, Langley School has been a cornerstone of the educational community for generations.

For over a century, Langley School has stood as a beacon of learning, fostering an environment where students not only excel academically but also develop essential life skills, values, and a sense of community.

The Problem

Currently, with the plethora of information readily available, Langley’s website navigation and design are difficult for their ideal audience to understand. Purposed to draw in parents looking for the perfect school to send their children to, the website, unfortunately, showed a loss in viewership, demonstrating difficulties in retaining its target audience. In addition, due to the complex navigation system and volume of places to visit, some of the wonderful achievements and opportunities designed for parents and interested parties to see are currently challenging to find, often becoming lost in the multitude of available links.

Hearing about our successful partnership with The Girls Day School Trust (GDST), Langley looked to Netmatters to help freshen up their website. Already equipped with all the information they need, Netmatters is proud to now be working alongside Desire Path to help reinvigorate Langley’s online presence.

How Will Netmatters Help?

Netmatters is now working closely with Desire Path to develop a website that will be fast, Google-friendly, and meet the tailored requirements of Langley School users.

This process starts with the Design Concepts Phase, where we map out the user journey and initial wireframes. This is one of the most vital parts of the build, where we will take a holistic analysis of the target audience. In the case of Langley School, this includes capturing exactly who the website should be designed for. By splitting the audience into a hierarchy of key groups, we can determine the optimal journey for a user to arrive, and subsequently reach their solution through the website's navigation and wireframes.

The next phase will be the Visual Design Phase, where the initial wireframes are brought to life. Illustrative design is crucial for the retention of a user and is the go-to tool that can make a lasting impression. Our aim is to highlight the prestigious work of Langley, capturing their values and heritage steeped in tradition.

The third phase of our project will be dedicated to the process of building and maintaining Langley’s website. During this crucial phase, our talented team will transform the conceptual ideas into a fully functional website, ensuring that every element aligns seamlessly. At Netmatters, we are acutely aware of the vital role web design and maintenance play in the digital landscape. Our dedicated experts work to craft a website that not only looks impressive but also functions flawlessly, making Langley School more accessible to those seeking quality education.
