Creating new users via Active Directory
Service cancellations
Completion of IT Solutions & Project Work
PC/Workstation Installations
Anti-Virus Installation
Strong written and oral skills
Confidence on the phone when dealing with clients
A passion for IT and to learn and develop within our supportive team
Excellent Customer Service skills
Experience working in the outsourced IT support industry
Full UK Driving licence as some of our work is off-site
Some specifics of the role:
You will be required to have a good telephone manner and support your clients through well-oiled organisation skills. You will be expected to be diligent, tidy, endowed with common sense and the confidence to take responsibility. Those who apply will be consistent and able to complete tasks thoroughly applying intelligence and broader understanding where necessary. Good under pressure, punctual and flexible, your first few weeks could look like this:
- Support for PCs and servers remotely and on-site (Win10, Win11, 2012, 2016, 2019 & 2022)
- Installing PCs / upgrading software
- Administration of IP phone systems (via web based interface)
- Supporting customer applications (training provided)
- Setting up email accounts and website hosting (Linux and Windows)
- Support for Mac's remotely and on-site.
Extra skills that would be great:
- A minimum of 2+ years experience in supporting small and medium sized business networks in an outsourced IT company.
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday.
Location: Wymondham, Norfolk
